Maa Bhangayni Temple Haripurdhar

Maa Bhangayni Temple Haripurdhar is a famous Religious place of Sirmaur District. The Temple is situated at border of Sirmour and Shimla District on a beautiful sharp hill top about 7500 feet above from sea level. A panoramic view of long eastern Himalayas is seen from Temple campus. A thick Forest of Oak, Dewdar, Kail, Moru and Kafal etc. Himalayan trees nearby Temple on Chopal road is most attractive and beautiful place of valley. Maa Bhangaini Temple is a part of Tikri-Dasakna Panchayat of Sangrah Development Block and the area is covered with snow during winter session. Maa Bhangaini is known as the Goddess Justice. According to folklores/tales Maa Bhangayni was God sister of Lord Shirgul Maharaj who helps them during fight/war with Mugal Emperor at Delhi. People of aria have a great faith in Maa Bhangaini and hundreds of religious people/ pilgrims come to pray Maa/Goddess on occasion like Sangrand, Navratre, Saja and Every Sunday etc. This beautiful Temple is situated on Sangrah-Chopal/ Rajgarh-Chopal  road near Haripurdhar Village.

  1. Nice post. Haripurdhar is a small and quaint town in the Sirmour district of Himachal Pradesh. The central attraction of this town is the Maa Bhangayni Temple, the presiding goddess here. Get to know more about HariPurdhar and plan for a trip to this small town.
